Before software: a decade of hands-on work in logistics and industry (2011–2022) — including six years at SOUDAL St. Valentin and civil service in disability care. That period taught me reliability, process thinking and what real-world operations actually need from software.
Designed and shipped a complete retrieval system: ingestion pipeline, vector DB, MCP interface, OAuth 2.1 security layer, ARM deployment.
Five-model embedding benchmark with statistical tests; chose the production model on a documented quality-vs-deployability trade-off.
Formal test protocols, E2E suites, 98% branch coverage on my tooling core, gap analyses that drive my own refactoring roadmaps.
